to hear or feel

io ho confusione di il verbe "sentire" , significa è "to feel" o "To hear" o entrambi?

Ciao a tutti,

there are many ways to translate the Italian verb "sentire" in English as

-"to feel" .
Example: -Come ti senti oggi? = How do you feel today? or
Hai sentito che caldo faceva oggi?=have you felt how hot was today?

-"to hear" /"to listen"
Example: - Ho sentito un rumore fuori = I have heard a noise outside

-"to taste"
Example: - Senti questo nuovo te' = Feel this new tea

-"to smell"
Example: Sento un'odore di torta = I smell cake
