Use of "Quei lavori"

In lesson 2.12 Workplace the phrase "Quei lavori " is used as an example and does not match any other of the examples for This and That. Is it a special case that I have forgotten? I am confused. Thanks, Sheldon Arey

Hi Sheldon, 'Quel' is demonstrative adjective indicating farness (that). The form 'quel' is used before a masculine noun beginning with any consonants except (z,s, gn, ps). Its plural form is quei (those). Examples: Singular- Plural quel lavoro (that job - quei lavori (those jobs) Lession 2.12 quel cane (that dog)- quei cani (those dogs) quel ragazzo (that boy)- quei ragazzi (those boys) quel giorno (that day)- quei giorni (those days) Examples of quello and quegli are used with masculine nouns beginning with z, s, gn and ps quello zio (that uncle)- quegli zii (those uncles) quello studente (that student)- quegli studenti(those students) quello gnocco (that dumpling)- quegli gnocchi(those dumplings) quello psicologo(that psychologist)- quegli psicologi(those psychologists)

hi Sheldon, John is correct. "Quei" is the plural form of "quel/quello". Ciao
