I am working on the verbs part of the MegaItalian games. I am having a pretty hard time. I am trying to go by using the prefixes given for Past Perfect, Inperfect, and Future Tense, but this doesn't always work. Is there somewhere where I could get a list of the most popular verbs, especially the irregular ones, conjugated in all the Tenses? Thanks,

Ciao Em21, welcome to the Rocket Italian Community and Forum. Unfortunately it's very difficult to find the list of the all irregular verbs. Here below I send a short list of the most used Italian irregular verbs. To make it easier I conjugate the verb with the pronoun"io" (I) into the 3 different tenses. It should be easy for you to conjugate the verbs with the other pronouns. infinitive - imperfect - present perfect - future 1st group : -ARE -andare (to go) : io andavo - io sono andato - io andrò -dare (to give) : io davo - io ho dato - io darò -stare (to be or to stay) -io stavo- io sono stato - io starò -giocare (to play) : io giocavo -io ho giocato-io giocherò -pagare (to pay) : io pagavo - io ho pagato -io pagherò 2nd group: -ERE -avere (to have) : io avevo - io ho avuto - io avrò -essere (to be) : io ero - io sono stato- io sarò -bere (to drink): io bevevo - io ho bevuto - io berrò -chiedere (to ask) : io chiedevo - io ho chiesto - io chiederò -chiudere (to close): io chiudevo - io ho chiuso - io chiuderò -conoscere (to know) : io conoscevo - io ho conosciuto - io conoscerò -potere (to be able, can) : io potevo - io ho potuto - io potrò -dovere (to ought to): io dovevo - io ho dovuto - io dovrò -volere (to want) : io volevo - io ho voluto -io vorrò 3rd group: -IRE -uscire (to go out) : io uscivo - io sono uscito - io uscirò -venire (to come): io venivo - io sono venuto - io verrò -capire (to understand): io capivo - io ho capito - io capirò -sentire (to hear) : io sentivo- io ho sentito - io sentirò -finire (to finish): io finivo - io ho finito - io finirò I hope this helps :)

I found two useful sites for finding Italian verb conjugations. Enter any verb in the infinitive and they give full conjugations. The sites are: http://www.italian-verbs.com/ http://parole.virgilio.it/parole/verbi_italiani/ I think the second site is more complete. The first site did not have a couple of the verbs that I tried. By doing a search using Google or other search engine you can find other sites as well that conjugate Italian verbs. Buona fortuna!

Barrons has a book called "501 Italian Verbs" that lists all conjugations for the 501 most used verbs. It also identifies the 55 most used verbs in the language and has extra information about them. I've found the book to be a useful addition to the Rocket Italian course.
