Buon giorno,

my question is the word "subito" In 1.3 the word was translated ""right away"
2.3 translates it "just",
The online dictionary translates it "quickly".

I'm not really making a connection between the 3. Could you help me pls to understand the use of the word "subito".

Grazie

ciao Fra,

the word "subito" can have diffferent meaning depending on the sentence.
Example:

-as "right away/straightaway"
"io ritorno subito" (I'll be back right away/straightaway)
-as "just"
"parto subito prima di mezzanote" (I leave just before idnight)

The word "quickly" usually translates literally as "velocemente, presto". But there are some examples in which can be translate as "subito".

-"una pittura che asciuga subito" (a paint which dry quickly)

I hope this helps.
Buon divertimento
