Adding a Vocabulary Index in ToolBox

Dear RJ Team, I would like to suggest that all the vocabularies that we learnt in each lesson to be indexed by their first Hiragana and to be listed centrally in the Toolbox so that we can search for these vocabularies in a much simpler way. Currently, if we cannot recall the lesson where we learn from, we have to search for it lesson by lesson. Thank you.

I notice that in "My Vocab" I can only use English as the search key. However, if I go the "Phrase Finder", I can enter the Hiragana and it will show me all the lessons where that word appears. I just did that with こんにち and got 10 matches. I can click on it and it will take me to the lesson. It also seems to match sentences with Kanji. On a separate note, I would like to see Rocket Languages add a Lesson Vocabulary section whereby the new vocabulary introduced by that lesson be listed individually. This would help when testing. We can master the individual vocabulary first before mastering the entire sentence.

Hi Robert, Thanks for your reply. Very often, we cannot remember the whole word of vocabulary but we may only know the first Hiragana or Katakana of the word. So we may not be able to use the Phrase Finder. My request is to have a compilation of all vocabularies in one place sorted by the first Hiragana (or Katakana). We can then do a quick lookup in the list and click on the link to jump to that particular lesson of the word. This should be helpful to students.

Hmmm. What worked yesterday is not working the same way today. I just tried to do what you suggested in phrase finder, i.e. enter Hiragana and it did not find much of anything. I think Phrase Finder is designed such that we enter the English we want translated and it looks for sentences that match it. Now, if I add vocabulary words to MyVocab and include Hiragana in the notes section, then when I search MyVocab, you can use Hiragana text in your search.
