理察德さん こんにちは！ So you're going to Japan! That must be very exciting for you. Here's how you can form your sentence: _I'm allergic to X. _ わたしは X の アレルギーです。 *Watashi wa X no arerugii desu.* OR _I'm allergic to X. _ わたし　は 　X 　に　たいして アレルギー　が　あります。 *Watashi wa X ni taishite arerugii ga arimasu.* So, for example, if you want to say, _I'm allergic to beans (any kind of beans). _ you can say: わたしは まめるい の アレルギーです。 *Watashi wa MAME-RUI no arerugii desu.* OR わたし は まめるい に たいして アレルギー が あります。 *Watashi wa MAME-RUI ni taishite arerugii ga arimasu.* FAVA BEANS (a.k.a BROAD BEANS) is そらまめ (*SOREMAME*) in Japanese. So say: わたしは そらまめ の アレルギーです。 *Watashi wa SORAMAME no arerugii desu.* OR わたし は そらまめ に たいして アレルギー が あります。 *Watashi wa SORAMAME ni taishite arerugii ga arimasu.* Happy traveling! -Sayaka :P
