In lesson 4.4 when Sayaka is referring to Nakamurasan as being very popular, it is said as totemo ninki des, then again as totemo ninki ga arimasu. Which is the correct way to state this? Thanks, I am really enjoying the lessons. Hope they help when I travel to Japan in 4 weeks.

Dear Dek, Konnichiwa! Thank you for your question. The correct way of saying "Nakamurasan is very popular" is *Nakamura san wa totemo ninki ga arimasu. * Hope you have a great time in Japan! Dewa, mata!
