Hi :D When I go to Japan later this year and I introduce myself, should I simply pronounce my name as I normally would or attempt to pronounce it as a Japanese person would. I know how to pronounce your name is the probably the least important language question when travelling to Japan but I'm curious. Also is Arrekusanda the way you would pronounce Alexander? Arigato

Alexander-san, Konnichiwa! Yes, you are correct. To say your name Alexander in Japanese, you simply need to say it slowly, and with a Japanese accent, that is, separating the syllables. *Are - ku - san - daa*.
