I am very very excited about going to Japan and I am now prepared!! I have a silly question! When I am in japan, I might want to get myself a Japanese girlfriend so she can show me around Japan! It doesn't have to be a relationship but a Japanese girl "friend". In London, I usually meet women in bars and clubs. Is it the same in Japan? Are there other places I should go to meet japanese women? Can you give me advice on meeting Japanese women? In London, I usually hang around with english women and I never had any asian girlfriends. So I want to make allot of japanese girlfriends when I am in Japan! hehe!! domo arigato gozaimashta!!

Hello, and Konnichiwa! I'm glad you're excited about your trip to Japan! How to meet a Japanese girl... Well, as a foreigner, you're at an advantage as Japanese girls are quite fond of you guys!! And if you have blue eyes and blond hair...that's even better. But, anyways, you're likely to find a Japanese girlfriend by simply talking to them...on the street. Like, let's say, a good place is Shibuya. Go up to them (I say them cause you'll find that Japanese usually hang out in crowds) and start talking to them with the Japanese that you know. They'll probably smile/laugh (with you) giggle...and so on, just because a foreigner trying to speak Japanese is always welcome! Hitting the bars and clubs may also be a way to go. And, like I said, in Japan, it's "cool" to have a foreigner boyfriend so you're at a GREAT advantage!! --Have fun!! :D
