Hi i know that aishite imasu and aishiteru both mean "i love you" but what would "aishite imasu ka?" mean, would it mean is there love? i love you? or do you love me and how about "aishite desu ka?" just want to clear things up been on my mind :S

I would think 愛していますか? (あいしていますか?)[aishiteimasuka?] would be used probably in a third person conversation talking about someonelse's love affairs in which case "Is there love (in the relationship)?" or "Do they love each other?" Then I would think 愛してですか?(あいしてですか?)[aishitedesuka?] would be used to say "Do you love me?" or "Is it love [that you seek]?"

Konnichiwa! おげんきですか? :P あいしていますか? *Aishite imasu ka?* can be asking one of the following... _1. Do you love me?_ _2. Do you love her/him/it/them?_ Just as Derek-san has explained, if this is used as a phrase on its own, (that is, without *Watashi o*) - it would be referring to a third person. _"Do you love her/him/it/them?"_ If you want to specifically ask the person you are talking to "Do YOU love me?" then you should probably add *Watashi o* - so you'd say *Watashi o aishite imasu ka?* or in a more casual situation, *Watashi o aishiteru?* Now, please be careful! *Aishite __desu__ ka?* is an incorrect phrase... A te-form of a verb and *~desu* can __NEVER__ combine together. On the other hand, *~iru* or the polite form *~imasu* CAN be tacked on after a te-form verb to express an action in progress. Remember that the *'i'* in *'~__i__ru'* often gets dropped in colloquial speech when following a te-form - leaving the contractions *~teru*, or *~temasu*.

(dame or useless for those wondering...)

You're almost there Derek-san... I must congratulate you on your correct usage of ほど in there :P Just two things! You wrote: いえ、いえ、本当にあなったの投稿ほど良いではない。。 First, あなった doesn't have a small っ in there! So the correct way would be あなた Secondly, 良いではない *Yoi dewa nai* is... incorrect Japanese. Sorry! The correct way would be 良くない *Yoku nai*. So, いえ、いえ、本当にあなたの投稿ほど良くない。。 and you might want to add です after that. Otherwise, good job! :P
