what is the difference between : "Hataraite" and "hatarakite imasu" are they both the TE form? if so, why does one have "aite" on the end while the other is "kite" and the end. and why is one with an "imasu" and the other isnt?

"Hataraite" is the te-form of "hatarakimasu" "Hataraite imasu" is the "te-form + imasu" form which means something like "working" "Hatarakite imasu" doesn't exist and must be a typo. It should be "Hataraite imasu" I apologize for the confusion.
