Hi
Are there any tricks to get Japanese "r" ("l") pronunciation right?

Elena-san こんにちは!

Actually, the Japanese "r" is a cross between the English "r" and "l", and quite interestingly, it winds up sounding close to a "d"!!
The sound "r" is made by lightly flicking the tip of your tongue against the ridge behind your upper teeth, a bit farther back that when saying "d".

Hope that helps!
