Hi. I was reading about the use of "you desu" in Japanese.:ようです
In using it to describe conjecture or resemblance, it is used with nouns + の;なーadjectives + な or with verbs in the plain form, right?
However, I came across this sentence:
君の部屋はひどい散らかりようですね。
I was wondering if anyone could help explain why the verb here (散らかります) was used in the -masu (- ます) form?
Thank you!
john
