what does aimashita mean in the introduction..?

this is what Sayaka has said in a few of the introductions i listened to.. it is from the verb au to meet..this is the mashita form.. so she said mata aimashita.. it measn " we meet again."

I didn't notice. Is she saying mata ashita? ashita is tomorrow. It's a devoiced i so it sounds a lot like ashta. One of my concerns is that she's from Osaka and among Japanese, Osakans are known for having a strong regional accent. Just about everybody outside of Tokyo has a regional accent of some kind.
