What is the exact difference between dono and dore? dono michi desu ka? michi wa dore desu ka? Thank you!

Konnichiwa ! Dono and dore are based on the same principle as: sono-sore, kono-kore. Dore, sore and kore are used on their own, while dono, sono, kono are used along with a noun (they refer specifically to it) examples: kore ga amai ringo desu - kore is the topic of the sentence kono ringo ga amai - ringo is the topic of the sentence, while kono only refers to it as "this" sore wa totemo kirei koen desu - sore is the topic of the sentence sono koen wa totemo kirei desu - koen is the topic while sono refers to it as "that" the examples which you mentioned for dono and dore are perfect. There, in the first sentence, michi is the topic, while dono refers to it as "which/what street". In the second, michi is still the topic, but dore stands on its own as "which/what"...so it would literally translate as: street what is -> which/what is the street ? Something else you can note about "dono", it is also an honorific, 殿　read as "dono/tono" どの／との. It roughly means "lord" or "master", though it does not necessarily mean "of noble status". Rather, it is similar to "milord" in meaning. It is more formal than -san or -sama.
