Both would convey what you are trying to say, however just remember that narau is "to learn" and benkyou means "study" and sure means "to do" thus benkyou suru means "To do study" but more naturally is "To study". Also narau might be more used for "What I LEARNED in Japanese class today is... *insert something you learned here*" vs. "I am learning Japanese". In short, REMEMBER: 習う （ならう） [narau] To learn 勉強する （べんきょう　する） [benkyou suru] To study
