Hello, actually I know what's the meaning of "yoroshiku (onegai shimasu)". It meant something like 'please point out my errors and teach me when I'm wrong'. But since English doesn't have the "proper" word for this, it is often translated as 'Nice to meet you.'　 8) OK. The question is this. If "yoroshiku" meant something like 'Nice to meet you', then why it is used so often when people are talking? Sometime, when I was watching some Japanese movies, it heard it often. But the subtitles are nothing to do with "nice to meet you", and it is not used with "hajimemaste" either.　 :cry: How what is its REAL meaning and how do we use "yoroshiku"?　 :roll:

For example. your mother, fed up with your father, decides to leave the house for some time (in search of her life?) and leaves you (her daughter or son) saying: おとうさんをよろしく。*Otousan o yoroshiku*.
