I was planning to go to Argentina and Uruguay and found out they speak a different form of Spanish called [url=http://www.voseospanish.com/:2bop1g5n]Voseo[/url:2bop1g5n]. Does anyone know if Rocket Spanish has software to learn that dialect? It has a different second person tense, so it looks pretty difficult.

As I understand it, it's not really a dialect, just a different form of the second person singular. Everyone will understand you if you simply use tú or usted. And if you get friendly enough with people so that they use vos when speaking to you, chances are you'll pick up the verb forms pretty quickly. :D But to answer your question, as far as I know, Rocket Spanish doesn't cover the use of vos, nor does Learning Spanish Like Crazy or Pimsleur. Offhand, I can't think of any program that _does._

I'm waaay late, but SpanishPod101.com has just recently starting posting lessons covering vos for anybody interested.

As far as I could tell it is pretty much the same thing, instead of using "tu" you use "vos". The verbs are all conjugated exactly the same. They don't use vosotros there - or conjugate that verb.

[/quo] In the present tense, the verbs are conjugated somewhat differently, in spelling, use of accent marks, and pronunciation. For example, *tú tienes* becomes *vos tenés*.
