How do you divide and multiply en español? What is the correct terminology? Por ejemplo, dos multiplied by dos son cuatro o ocho divided by cuatro son dos

Hello Frank,
The terms you are looking for are "*dividir*" and "*multiplicar*", now when you are multiplying though the word "multiplicar" it's kind of long so like in English we say "times" in Spanish we say "*por*"... not sure why we just do :D
So... dos *por *dos son cuatro y ocho *dividido *por cuatro son dos.
