Hi Guys,

I have addressed this problem with our tech team before. Apparently we are running an older version of Phpbb and we need to run an update.

Now that sounds easy but, there is a change that we can loose our database so we are a little reluctant to do it.

I'll talk to them again see what we can do... let hope nothing happens to the forum.

Hello Mauricio

yes, that is indeed a danger.
I am also active on another forum. We were forced to move to another place and decided to update as well.
We lost 3 weeks of posts. Unrecoverable !
But I advice you to make a backup of the forum and if you update and loose posts , you always can offer the backup in ZIP format to the members

All you have to do is use a program like : Httrack , which is freeware, and this will make a duplicate of the site ( or forum ).

If you decide to update, and NOT to backup, please give us a 3 day warning, so that we can make the backup ourselves

Thank you

Antonio
