For those who are considering buying the CD set of Rocket Platinum, (Lessons 18-25), I’d suggest waiting until the authors have amended the errors in the Extra Vocab section. Significant errors occur in most of the lessons. I’ve posted some of the errors that I've picked up.
Note: The errors are not on the audio lessons. They are mainly in the English translations in the Extra Vocabulary. This section has obviously not been a high priority for the team. The Platinum Set is certainly worthwhile getting, but if you’re the type of person who would expect better than this following example (from Lesson 23.1), I’d recommend waiting:
Text: “Si quieres entender a los latinos, ¡tienes que leerlo!”
Translation given: “If you understand Latin, you have to read it!”
