Hola Larry! The main difference is that "tu" is the informal way and "su" the formal one... You can say "tu casa" or "su casa", and they mean the exact same thing, but again, the second one is used when you reffer to people as "usted" instead of "tu"... hope that helps! mucha suerte, saludos!
