The Advanced Course

Hi All-- I checked out both the Beginner's and Advanced courses and I think they're both great. Amy's and Mauricio's audio in particular can't do anything except help you learn Spanish. However, I was surprised that the Advanced Course doesn't cover the grammar of the "Haber" tenses-- *7 Tenses *in fact that allow one to expand descriptions of times and when things happened or will happen. The present perfect, the past perfect, etc. In addition, and maybe I missed it, but I can't find any material on the Subjunctive Moods, for example: Yo quiero que tu vengas a mi casa. The Subjunctive seems to be used so often in Spanish that it's indispensable for conversational Spanish. Did I miss it--or is it "missing"? What do you think?

If some of you are curious about an answer to my post above, Mauricio "finally" got around to emailing me, which I do appreciate. I don't think he'd mind if I quoted him. In a nutshell he says this: "You are completely right, the Haber tenses are very important and of course the subjunctive mood needs to be looked at a bit More in depth... At the moment we are quite busy with other languages, but I will put your suggestion into one of our meetings and see what comes up from it... maybe we can do an extra lesson on these and have it as an update to the level II course... if we do it may not be for some time but I'll try to push for it to come out sooner." So, we have something to look forward to. Boy, it's cold in New York today! Hasta la próxima, Oliver
