Ok, first, I like the teaching methodolgy of this course better than any other language course I have taken. At what proficiency level should a typical student be at after completing the entire audio course and the beginners book plus the conversation builder ?(beginner, intermediate etc.) Also, is there somewhere I can go online and take a standardized spanish proficiency test to assess where I am at ? The only negative comment I have is that there is no audio component to accompany the advanced portion if the course. Why is this and are there any plans for advanced audio lessons in the future? :D Adios !

Hi, We do don’t have a test but have a look at this link and give it a go, it starts of easy but the comprehension question are a bit tough, I got some wrong myself. You should be and advance intermediate or there about. Hope that helps. Mauricio

Wow, that was a humbling experience! I just took the test and found myself done in by vocabulary--the place I thought I'd do best! :( For those who would like to try an additional test, I found one at *__http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Thebes/6177/spantest/spantest_intro.htm__*. Since I managed to score "Intermediate-Advanced" on that one, I like it better :)

Hi, Yeah, that's a good one too. Although I think it may be a little bit easier... just a tad :) Mauricio
