In spanish you can say
"Mi nombre es..." or you can used "Yo me llamo...."...or simply "Me llamo..."
The first one is literal, the 2nd and 3rd will translate to "Im called...." and i think the answer depends on the questions...if they ask you:
¿Cual es tu nombre?...your answer should be "Mi nombre es Darrian" or simply "Darrian"....
If the question is:
¿Como te llamas?...your answer can be either "Darrian" or "Me llamo Darrian" or "Yo me llamo Darrian"...the "you" is already implied.
