Como se explica el uso de "sí"? Qué es la forma o función gramatical?

I think it is yes for emphasis. Por ejemplo en inglés: But the parties, I remembered those. As compared to : But the parties, yes, I remembered those." Remembered" being in the imperfect. Espero que ésto sea útil. Tambien, espero que yo tenga razón. Si no, tal vez alquien podría ayudar.

Rich tiene razon!...Rich is right,....it is just to make emphasis...something similar to..."But the parties...those (parties) "i do " remember"...the "i do" works as the "si" in the spanish expression!
