    In Level 1, Lesson 3.09, we're given the examples El perro está malo for “The dog is sick” and Estoy enfermo for “I am sick”. is this distinction for non-humans versus humans, or is there some other rule about malo versus enfermo ?

    If someone asks me  “¿En qué trabajas?” how should I answer? My dictionary has “jubilado” for “retired”, but I'm not sure if that's idiomatic. Should I say “Soy jubilado” or something else?

  • Lesson 3.3 is killing me. Can't get past it.
    This lesson is about the discussion of weather. What I need/want to know is, if you hacer sol why don't you hacer rain?  I simply cannot wrap my mind around the use of hacer. It ain't computing, and I'm getting head-bangingly frustrated with it.
