What does it mean when someone says "Estoy con muchas cosas en la cabeza." Does it mean that the person has "a lot on their mind" as we might say in English? Can you infer something about the seriousness of the person's internal state based on this phrase? Is it saying they are just really busy or that they have some heavy issues to deal with or what?? Hi, "Estoy con muchas cosas en la cabeza" does mean I have a lot on my mind and just like in English this could mean many things. Busy at the moment or can't deal with anything else at this time, or even as an apology... sorry I got a lot on my mind. I don't think it means they have heavy issues but definitely they have to deal with a few things before going into the next one... you really need to look at the state of the person saying it and also intonations can really affect its meaning.
