Hello- I listen to Spanish language radio on my way to/from work... I find it to be a useful aspect of learning the language. Two things I hear often and can't find in a dictionary-- please help: 1) a word that sounds like "Lie Day"... rhymes with Friday. 2) one word or maybe two words that sound like "Asta Luenta". Thanks for any answers-

Hello themaze. I don't think that you are going to get many answers. It is difficult to << imagine >> what __you__ heard. Asta Luenta could be < esta cuenta >. It also could be 36 other things. If you supply the complete sentence , at least we can have an educated guess. Thanks. Enjoy your stay with Rocket Spanish Antonio

Hola themaze, I'm with Antonio on this one, I can't figure out what those words are... if you put them in a complete sentence it will be much easier. Thanks Mauricio.

I figured out that what sounded like "Asta Luenta" was actually Once Noventa ... a me... 1190 AM !!! The frequency of the radio station! Still trying to figure out the other one, though (the "lie day" one). Thanks.
