German expert required to write/review German lessons

We are a company who produce online language courses, and one of those courses is a "learn German" course for English speakers.

We require a content creator/writer who is fluent in both standard German and English.

You must have an excellent knowledge of German including grammar.

You also must have an excellent command of English and be able to explain German points of grammar in writing.

This role is on a short-term contract basis, with the majority of the work to be done within 2 to 3 months of starting. You must have a valid work visa for New Zealand.

Please answer the screening questions as part of your application.

Question 1:

Vorzubereiten appears in the following sentence;

Sandra hat Stephanie für ein paar Stunden weggelockt und hatte Zeit alles vorzubereiten.

Translated as:

Sandra lured Stephanie away for a few hours and had time to prepare everything.

I am puzzled by vorzubereiten, it doesn't seem to be in any of the dictionaries.

Google translate has it as "to be prepared."

What is the difference between bereiten, vorbereiten and vorzubereiten?

Question 2:

There is the verb fressen and the verb essen, which both mean to eat. Is fressen interchangeable with the (apparently) more common verb essen or is there a difference in meaning and usage?
