Holidays in Chinese

Nǐhǎoma? Welcome to the Rocket Chinese lesson on Holidays. There are many 节日 jiérì celebrated in China throughout the year. The most famous and probably most important is 春节 chūnjié – also known as Spring Festival. It's celebrated in on the first day of Chinese Lunar New Year. At this time, the country is filled with fireworks.

Today we’ll go over this and several other holidays in Chinese that you might find just as important as the people in China do.
