Try to describe how you feel stuck: your native language/target language, previous experience of language learning, specific problems, etc. People here have lots of varied experience and can help.
My perspective: I have been studying languages for work (Japanese) and for fun (French, Spanish, Italian) over 40+ years. I never skip a day, even if its for 20-30 minutes at a time. It's a wonderful hobby, and opens up all sorts of social and work opportunities. Persistence is key. Take it one step at a time, day-to-day.
Back to you - what are you concerned about? I guarantee someone has had the same experience and can give you a solution.
Enjoy!

Thank you for your reply. I am trying to learn French. My native language is Spanish. I feel frustrated specially when doing the flashcards or quiz. I realize there that I have no clue and the words and grammar doesn't stick to my memory. I am trying to do 15 min a day. I work full time.

I find French the most challenging because of the pronunciation compared to the written form. I usually go over the lesson multiple times before going onto Listening, then Writing. I slowly incorporate Flashcards whilst doing Writing and Speaking. The reason for me not doing Flashcards first is it assumes I have memorised the grammar and vocabulary enough to do them, which I haven't at that stage.
It takes me an average of just over a week to complete a lesson, devoting 30+ minutes a day, as well as approximately 30 minutes on other apps, videos, podcasts, etc. At 15 minutes a day, just be patient with yourself and persist.
If it's any consolation, Rocket is the best product of the many I have used over the years. You will get there.
Hopefully, other users will give you their thoughts as well.
All the best
Chris

Salut Teresa,
I go through each lesson until I remember most of the things. I also write all the dialogues so it will stick. And then I go through the flashcards etc.

Hi TeresaL6,
Thanks for your post!
We've all been where you are now when it comes to language learning; it can really feel like an uphill battle. But like ChrisM108 and Vani219 mentioned, it's all about figuring out what works for you and how you study best.
Motivation is a key part of language learning, so it's a good platform for building your study techniques. For example, think about why you want to learn French and then base your practice off that. Maybe you want to learn it in order to speak with French-speaking friends or colleagues, so the Role Play, Speaking, and Listening activities are where you should put your focus.
If you would like some support to do this, feel free to book a demo call via the link below, and we'd be happy to talk you through using the course in the best way to get what you want out of it.

I hope this helps!

Sorry but 15min a day you are unlikely to see results. I was doing duolingo and the 15mins youtube learning etc for quite a while. May be in a year or two time you will notice some gains but it is likely you will be stuck with greetings, numbers, days of week and some very basic stuff only. I think at least 1hr per day with 30mins new and 30min revise previous stuff.
