Hi,
When is it better to use either “Gut aus“ vs “prima aus”?
When talking about how something look?

Hallo RexV,

Prima is a more colloquial adjective meaning "super" or "great" and gut is simply "good," so it depends on how strongly you'd like to compliment someone as to whether you'd tell someone Das sieht gut aus or Das sieht prima aus.

Also, just keep in mind that prima is colloquial, so it might be a bit out of place to say it in a more formal context.

Tschüss!

Liss
