I just checked these two words with a dictionary, but I get to the same meaning. Are they interchangeable or should one of them be used in a specific situation?
Zuhause vs Haus

The Leo dictionary gives:
Das Haus = the house
Das Zuhause= the home
Not quite the same thing.
Zushause can also be used as an adjective.
The Leo dictionary is pretty good and I think Rocket recommends it.

There is also Langenscheid;
https://en.langenscheidt.com/
Then there is Collins
https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/german-english/haus
It has a useful feature called "trends" which gives you an idea how common a word is.
If I have trouble with the meaning of a word, I find it can help to look in more than one dictionary.
