Hi Rachelyeo,

It means "There was a really nice weather today". Literally "Today it did really nice weather".

Bello becomes bel in front of masculine nouns that begin with a consonant or a cluster of consonants.
Bel bambino (nice kid)
Bel braccialetto (nice bracelet)
Bel libro (nice book)
Bel cagnolino (nice puppy)

Grazie,

however, i thought italian adjectives should always come after the nouns?
Esempi:
Macchina grande, appartamento piccolo, la donna è bella.

Hi Rachelyeo,

Adjectives usually come after the noun, but not always. You may find this topic useful: https://members.rocketlanguages.com/members/forum/italian-grammar/question-on-adjectives-noun-positioning-in-sentences
