La grammatica pratica

Christoforo

Ciao,

Qual è la migliore pratica per la grammatica?

Grazie,
Christoforo

Hi Christoforo,

If I understand correctly, you're asking for the best way to learn grammar.
Everyone learns differently, but what works best for me is lots and lots of exercises and repetitions.
After you practice it for some time, the rule is bound to stick. Drilled repetition is especially useful for remembering verb conjugations and it's more successful when combined with audio tracks, so be sure to listen to every audio recording that Rocket Italian has to offer! :)

Did you want to say you bought some operas? (Ho comprato delle opere or Ho comprato alcune opere). "Thanks for confirming" is Grazie per la conferma ("Thanks for the confirmation").

I was trying to say, " I bought The Works".  Meaning, I purchased the Rocket language package called "The Works".  I guess I misunderstood the translation or usage of "opera".

Thank you for the correct  grammar  concerning the word confirmation, as well.

Grazie!

I get it now :)
Opera is one of the possible translations for work, so you were quite close! We could translate The Works with L'opera completa (The complete work), or more freely with Il corso completo (The complete course).

So...
Ho comprato l'opera completa / il corso completo.

Opera is especially used for artistic works (literature, theatre, paintings...), as in work of art that becomes opera d'arte in Italian. As in English, it also addresses a kind of musical drama.

Grazie, mille!
