Pronoun agreement with Noun

Under Section 2.12, I note Quello Studente is translated as that Student.  Why is it not Quello Studento?

Hi Christine,

"studente" is a singular noun ending in "e" rather than "o" for the masculine and "i" for the plural i.e. Studenti. You use the masculine single form then for quello and quegli studenti for the plural.
