Hi,

In unit 17.5, nessuno is translated as neither. Is that right? I thought it was nobody.

Hi Drew,

This nessuno translates sentences like "neither of the two", as in nessuno dei due.

Hope this helps!

Hi Lucia,

But, just so I understand, is it right that on its own it means neither, or does it need to be put into context to have that meaning?

Hi Drew,

Yes, without any context the primary translation would be "nobody"!
