Lesson 1.2 Piano = slowly.. Later lesson Lentamente = slowly. I tried looking up Piano in an Italian American Dictionary and its not there. Confused here

It's the same... Lentamente is an adverb and Piano is an adjective, but you can use Lentamente only with the meaning of slowly, and Piano also with the meaning of quietly...=) I'm sorry for my bad english XD i'm italian. =)

ciao a tutti, "Slowly" can be literally translated as "lentamente" ot "piano" depending on the contest of the sentence. Marina is correct: "Piano" can also be translated as "quietly" or "softly". I hope this helps. Buon divertimento with Rocket Italian !!! ciao
