I have always wanted to know how different Japanese was before Kanji was introduced and they changed words for the Chinese pronunciation. It is clear it is influenced a lot by the Chinese language and a mix of its own native words.

I guess that makes sense that a language would be heavily influenced by others way back then in the more formative years, like when they were importing the Chinese writing system.
