Lesson 5.3

Tony-N6

되고 = one can? Really?

Tony-N6

Ok, I see my confusion after listening to the lesson again. I was hearing "one can" as in "one can of beer," but Kelly meant something more like "someone is able to, it is possible." It's probably best to use less ambiguous phrasing when you only offer a single phrase to translate with no further explanation.

Jeremy V

glad to see you found the answer. how have you been Tony N6?

zachariah-i

Tony-N6

I've been doing well. Thank you. I like the Hangul spelling of your name. Nice touch.

Jeremy V

Thanks man. So you still practicing your korean? I have a good site where you can speak to native korean speaker for corrections for free. Its called italki.com. you should try it out.

Tony-N6

Thanks for the site. I work on my Korean a bit every day. It's slower going than I'd like, but I make progress bit by bit.

Jeremy V

Yeah my korean was slowing down too. So I decided to skype with a native korean.
