Really love the course, just wish I had more time to it. I started the course over 2 years ago and have barely made it out of the first levels. The course is fun and very informative, like I said wish I had more time for it. Xie xie
This is my first time taking an at home computer based language course. I am very impressed and find it so easy to follow along and pick up the language well. The audio is very clear and I love the interactive role playing. I will definitely recommend this program of language courses. I will purchase more courses for myself as well.
I really enjoy this program. Well worth the price so far and I am very excited to continue to use it. I am eager to learn all I can so that I can experience the beautiful country of Japan and not seem like a complete gaijin.
So far it seems to be just what I wanted. Learning to speak and understand common phrases. The chance to hear myself say the phrases is very helpful. It is also very convenient. I will be continuing lessons via blutooth while I commute.
I'm just starting out and find the lessons comfortable and easy to use. So far I need to go over each one several times and take notes to make progress. The program is very adaptable to my learning style.
My computer is having difficulty with my microphone and the flash player, not yet resolved. Even without my voice input I'm making good progress. The Rocket team are very responsive and easy to contact. Good value.
I love Rocket Languages because this was how I started out with Spanish and thus got to know the language from the initial stage. Today I'm still using it. I would recommend Rocket Languages to anybody who wants to learn Spanish.
Granted, I am not a very disciplined student, but I have tried all of the language learning tools around I think... I like aspects of all of them, but not everything about any of them... I haven't been working with Rocket Italian for very long, but I am beginning to think that it may change all of that! I like the variety of presentations they take you through for each lesson - I originally took the stance that I didn't care about being able to write Italian, but as time goes on, I find that it not only helps you remember things, but comes in handy as you email more and more with Italian speakers. I liked that aspect of Fluenz, but other aspects bugged me... didn't really like Rosetta Stone... like Plimslur in my car, but only as practice, not really as comprehensive learning... so, I am thrilled with what I am finding with Rocket Italian!
Rocket languages works! I spent about 6 weeks learning French in preparation for a holiday break. I was able to order food, drinks, ask for basic directions when lost, and have a very basic simple conversation. The best thing about Rocket is the facility to record your voice and compare it to the native speaker and practice again and again till you get it right (or at least good enough to be understood).
Personally, I don't think one could ever be fluent using any online programme. For that you need personal one to one tuition on a VERY regular basis and you would need to live in the country so you are forced to speak the language every single day. Otherwise - forget about advanced conversational level fluency - not ever gonna happen.
But if you want to make yourself understood for basic requests, to make your holiday a more enjoyable experience, then Rocket delivers as long as you put in the practice hours and persist.
Thanks for a brilliant work!
Unfortunately, most online courses do not suit for me very well because of my good visual memory.
But you are able to master it! Writing, reading…
Even frightening French pronunciations ... :) - it’s really works!!!!!!
Rocket Language is very helpful. And I truly think that it's all I needed to be able to pursue my researches on the Japanese Language. It is a very Great initiative!!!
Found plenty of tools tat really help improving someone's language learning skills.
