At least at beginning the Rocket has motivated me

I am very happy with the organization of this course. Everything is covered. I am learning to speak, read, write, and add to my vocabulary. I enjoy the information about culture. I wonder if it is possible to add more practice with verbs? The preterit is so difficult.

It still requires a lot of study to learn French (not surprisingly). However, after 6 months of using this course, my fluency in French is much better than it was after 6 years of study at school, many decades ago.

This is a great course to teach a majority of whatever language you want. Sure if you want to learn a language you will need to use more than this but this covers most for a good price. Its interactive audio lessons can be a bit annoying sometimes how it doesn't respond to you despite answering other questions perfectly but hey no one is perfect and I think this would be a wonderful app for you.

I've only just started using Rocket Language but I'm loving it so far. The voice recognition feature alone is worth the price. I really appreciate that it shows me a "real time" translation of what I'm saying so I can actually see/hear where I'm going wrong. Can't wait to dive deeper and learn more.

So far, I've had a good experience with Rocket German. I got it about 2 weeks ago and I like the structure and how comprehensive it is. I love that in each lesson a conversation is throughly breaken down. You get a lot of insight about the usage of words, examples of sentences in other situations, comprehensive explanations of grammar details, explanations of word order and so on and so forth. The only downside is that it may be too structured for some people and therefore boring to them. In my case that's okay since I use other resources and watch, read and listen some fun and diverse content too.
Some ideas for improvement:
- I'd love the hosters to speak a bit more naturaly, even if it may be harder to understand, it'd improve our listening skills and prepare us for real situations (I'm not sure if in more advanced lessons, the conversations are more natural)...
- It could be good to have the oportunity to also get some reading exercises, like texts or stories with a feature of translation and listening. You could add something like this in each module...
- for visual learners it could be good to add some images for some flashcards (not all, since some words are too abstract).

Being able to engage in any kind of dialogue while learning a language is crucial to establishing a sense of comfort with using the words in context and conversation for the future. Pronunciation being checked for accuracy through my mic is a big deal when wanting to use a language outside of casual engagements and I love that Rocket provides a service to hear my attempts at words and catch whether I'm saying things correctly or using the correct words at all. Flashcards are my favorite study tool and having options to customize what info appears on them is a nice benefit. The price is a little steep without a promo code, which is a bit prohibitive for some of my peers, and though understandable, it would be nice to see rarer languages featured like Hawaiian, Navajo, or Gaelic. Great product overall though and I can already tell I'm learning better with it than I did with the 'owl app'.
