Rocket French — Brussels , Belgium
I've just started the first few lessons and I really like the conversational approach to learning and the additional form of testing that follows. Unlike other learning platforms that I've tried that encourage you to speak, Rocket's approach of using voice recognition makes it into a kind of game where you feel that speaking correctly matters. I also love how you can stand in for one of the speakers in a pseudo-realtime conversation. It feels that one step closer to learning with another person.
Rocket German — Shenyang
The series of German courses are very good for me. The words and expressions are very common in the daily life. After learning some free audio lessons, my German level has upgraded a lot since I graduated from the university, with German as my second foreign language. However, the Premium version is a little expensive for me for the currency rate between RMB and US dollar. Maybe when I have enough money, I will consider the Premium German course.
Rocket Spanish — Redondo Beach
Rocket language courses are interesting and fun with what seems like a common learning template for all their courses. I purchased several Rocket language courses but they are just the elementary level. I would purchase higher level courses if there were better incentives or deals.
Rocket Korean — Isabela
i like Rocket Languages because im gonna learn korean languages Pretty good deal I would say! What I like very much are your e-mail follow ups, so I get constantly reminders to learn more Spanish in case I get too lazy. Rocket Spanish is pretty unique to me, because usually one buys a language course and when you have paid for it you're left alone with no help at all, let alone steady reminders and follow ups. You are like a live teacher to me, who cares about his student.
Rocket Hindi — United Kingdom
Rocket Hindi is my favourite language learning method after reading actual books, which give me much more in depth understanding of grammar.
My fault with it is the use of the inherent vowel at the end of the English (romanised) tranliteration of words and where it’s not pronounced in the middle of some words. It’s a massive let down to the service and gets in the way of every session. The inherent ‘a’ vowel is only pronounced in Sanskrit.
Rocket Korean — Korea, Republic of
Honestly, it’s alright through the first few days. But not much more than that.
1. I can’t use it the “write it” function on my computer because the Korean keyboard doesn’t show up. They never got back to me on that, so I have to use my phone. It’s a bit annoying, and as I haven’t received any answer, I’m not sure what my feedback was for. 2. They teach formal speaking, which isn’t all that helpful when most Koreans use words that in in 요, not 입니다.
Rocket French — Madrid , Spain
Great and very good software platform to learn French from scratch.
I would appreaciate a lot if you could record videos to explain grammar and languages rules by your teachers. It would also be fantastic to have videos instead of just audio files about conversations. At last, I would appreciate a clearer path to know exactly what to do each day ("way of fools"...). With that you would have 5 stars without hesitate. The best software platform I've seen to learn a language. Keep on going guys!!!
Rocket Spanish — beijing , China
the excercises are less, even too simple. Every single charpter is well, like order menu, book room,Say,the price is satisfing each one,and I hope it can open to everyone for free, that's exciting, or make some easy games or Words Puzzle; whatever it like , it make learner more keen to learning, and make a better memory, learn all word and prase by heart.
Rocket Arabic — birmingham
I find the oral practice work very good and feel that I would also benefit from writing as well. [ like the instant comparison of pronunciation the most compelling feature of your product and the price the least appealing.
Rocket French — HI , United States
I like everything so far on the trial membership, except for the "rating" task that forces you to rate each word of the flashcards. It's tedious and who knows how to categorize each word anyways? The modules are fun!
