Rocket French — United States
It's really good and you can learn a lot. It is great if you're busy because you can download the lessons to listen to while you drive, cook, clean and more. I've tried a lot of different sites and books and none of them have such amazing lessons and pronunciation help. I highly recommend.
Rocket French's format, utilizing audio and written presentations and including opportunities to test one's progress have made learning French fun and achievable. We visited France when I had be using Rocket for about 3 months, and I wasn't fluent but I was able to speak some and understand a lot! My highest achievement was to ask for and understand directions (in French) to the ladies' toilet at the art museum in Lille! One suggestion: add a jump forward/back 15 seconds function on the audio tracks to allow a skipping or reviewing more easily. Merci, merci, merci, Claire and Paul!

Rocket German — Chattanooga / Tennessee , United States
I'm only getting started with the six day sample lessons, but I hope the introductory lessons (four of them so far) are truly representative of the German Rocket lessons to come. Compared to other online German courses I have sampled thus far, I do like the Rocket German language approach the best so far.
Rocket Languages is an awesome way to learn German or any language. It is light years ahead of the way I learned French at High School long ago.
In place of learning lists of words, you are given phrases to use so that you learn idioms rather than setting yourself up to use stilted expressions that don't accord with actual usage.
Rocket Chinese — NSW
There are many options when it comes to learning Mandarin and they all seem convincing. I have tried several when I first began some years ago. These included private lessons, online one-on-one, and well known DVD lessons. It was not until I took up Rocket Languages that my learning started to show significant results. I was not just learning words but phrases that could be used in real life situations.
rocket lanuages his very good for learning chinses japanese to i like to be free downlaod for my desktop instead of onlne wish it was free for all time keep up the good work from john takacs form scunthorpe
Well, I arrived in France three months back & before coming I learnt the basics of French from Module 1 and from survival kit & it helped me a lot in communicating to people initially. I am still learning here and communicating with people. I tried to learn from other sources also but rocket french is the best online course I would say. The courses are very organised and also motivating.
Rocket Spanish — United States
After trying to find a "base" program to center myself around learning Spanish, I've found it with Rocket Languages. This program contains useful conversations that you WILL use when traveling or living in a Spanish speaking country. Not only that, but it furthers your education by many forms of reinforcement. After listening to the lessons, it is very wise to keep going with the supplementary features that are offered. I find myself spending an additional 30 minutes on just the review.

Rocket Italian — United States
I learn better when I understand the background of my subject. To that end, Rocket Italian explains the rules and irregularities of the Italian language, a nice contrast to programs that teach you only by correcting errors you make while learning, and without any explanation as to why you made the mistake.
In one week of Rocket Italian I've learned some things I didn't know after studying the language for years. That alone makes it well worth the price. I do recommend Rocket Italian.
