I have just started Rocket Spanish and I am happy with the "get started" lesson.

I have tried every, and I mean EVERY language learning platform to date. Each and every one had their ups and downs, but I found the program that had the least amount of 'downs' was Rocket by far. My only real complaints are that the platform is a bit outdated feeling and glitchy, and it also costs more than seemingly any other learning service. It also can be redundant and boring at times, which is a factor in many other platforms, too. All the same, I feel Rocket is the most accurate and realistic over any other program out there. It is concise, explanatory, and has a good mix of material and usage. I feel I am finally learning Spanish the correct way, as I would in school, without having to actually be in a classroom or pay thousands of dollars. I really recommend Rocket to anyone learning a language. I am so glad I caved and paid for it and don't regret it one bit. I can't wait to see how far I come with it!

I bought this program to learn useful Japanese but it's not really helpful. The dialogue sets are more geared toward someone who speaks Japanese and not someone who needs to learn. As an example: there is a dialogue set about asking people if they speak Japanese, but not one that helps to you ask if they speak English or that YOU don't speak Japanese. It goes on from there. I've gotten very little actual useful phrases from this program and I'm upset I spent so much on it. My upcoming trip to Japan is not going to be helped by this program.

I love it. I like to be able to listen to myself and repeat exercise to learn the lessons.

Found out about it online that said it was the most effective out of the major online language learning tools. Only a little bit of the way through, but so far its great. Also happy to support an NZ company!

at first i was skeptical because of the high price but i am very satisfied with my experience. the dialogue is a bit too cringy at times but overall the exercises is very good i had fun learning new words and phrases using the microphone voice detection and the different quizzes after the audio lesson i recommend the program and will likely try to learn other languages on this site.

It works well, a good structure. Needs a separate flash card section to go over vocab.

the audio recognition needs work. Also stop asking me to review every six times i record a word.

I studied with Rocket Italian for 18 months before taking a trip to Italy. Rocket's method of putting you on the spot to answer questions really helped, and I felt like I could think on my feet! My Italian wasn't perfect, but the lovely nonna who was our host spoke no English, and we were able to talk and even joke together!
A year later I returned to Italy without having studied or reviewed, and I feel like I did great. I'm certainly not fluent or quite conversational but I could ask questions and understand the answers, so I call that a win.
Now I'm on to Rocket Spanish! It very much has the same feel and format that I know I can be successful with. The host does come off a little more condescending than the Italian host did, but I'm only in module three and I'm already feeling confident about my Spanish. I do wish there was a Spain-focused version, as that is where I will be visiting.
I think it's such a great program, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Spanish or Italian.

I have not been using this long enough to write a review. I have a question out there and am waiting for the answer.
