Rocket Languages review criteria
It's boring. There is no picture to help me connect with the phrase or words. They throw a sentence at you and have you repeat it, hoping you remember. It's no different from when you just Google Translate phrases and remember them yourself. Maybe throw an interactive game or something. I wanted a refund, but there's no refund button either. I guess I'll just take this as my loss.

So far, I am finding it rather boring and tedious. Certainly don't look forward to undertaking a lesson. Capability to record and replay ones responses useful.

A bit too early to judge, I just started using it for German, but so far it is going sehr gut!
A small improvment would be to teach memorizing the nouns coupled with their articles (Der, Die, Das) since the begining, not to go through sorting these out again at a later stage.
But still, the course is considered great with a nice way for practicing a lot of speaking and writing which were very useful in my case! Thanks

It's great to hear that your German language learning is going well, and we appreciate the feedback regarding the articles. You will actually start to notice this after module two. The reason is that German articles function quite differently from their English counterparts, so we purposefully structured it this way to prevent learners from getting the wrong idea. Of course, language learning is unique to each learner, and some may prefer a different approach. Unable to get the mic working. Tried for hours and no luck. Followed all the instructions for Chrome and Windows 11. It only worked sporadically.

I love how this course covers all modalities; reading, writing, listening and speaking. There are often accent marks in the questions words like who, what, where, how. I would not know that if I haven't practiced the writing. I also like who it evaluates my pronunciation. The app works great on the phone and great on the computer.
