Really good course, I'm studying Russian where the grammar aspect is crucial given the case declension of words, so the only feature that is missing is grammar, maybe this intentional, but I think it would help to have grammar chapters based on the existing lessons.

Great course, thank you. It would be better to have a table of comparison with Babbel (German company). They appear you to the same level but you are better.

I have tried to learn other languages such as Italian on other websites such as Rosetta Stone. However, they never truly helped me learn and absorb the language. When I decided that I wanted to settle on Russian, my parents helped me the best way they could by telling me about the Rocket Russian audio course. I have never learned more about another language than I have now.

I don't know what magic they use but it is the only courses that gave me enjoyment by feeling how fast I progressed.

At first it might seem hard but the next day you wake up remembering about 50-80% of the things you learnt the previous day.

I've already used duolingo (way to primary), assimil (outdated sorry...), busuu (I gave up and didn't learn that much by completing the first section to go from A1 to A2), rosetta stone( lol no way to frustrating).

If you're a beginner I'd recommend to learn on the desktop than the app because of the tools available.

The after-sales services are professional, trustworthy and you can download the audios so you don't have to worry about an exit scam or anything like that.

PRO TIP: if you don't feel like paying the full price (because you're broke like me) you can check their affilates or wait for a promotion.

I am very pleased so far, I can go at my own pace and repeat lessons till I remember. I really like the way it shows the spelling in both languages, and they carefully break it down to make it as easy as possible. I am also pleased with the alphabet being available. I have learned a few words in Russian on lesson 1 that I can pronounce, read and remember! I did not expect that. I am very pleased. I have already recommended to a co-worker and I Recommend it to everyone!

Although I like the system employed, and it is certainly better than the so called market leader, there are some elements which could be improved.

The most frustrating thing for me is the translation facility which is sooooooo slow. How much better it would be if the translation could be downloaded somehow instead of relying on a live connection.

The other obvious point is that it is not possible to use Rocket Language if there is no internet connection

completely new to Russian. This course starts you out from a very basic place and develops your skills to knowing beginner words and phrases. Can't wait to continue to learn more and more as I go deeper into the courses.

Really "tongue's on" learning. I love Russian and could not learn it without a speaker. This solves the problem. The pronounce and playback option is endless fun for me since I like to hone my pronunciation of Russian. It's VERY different from English pronunciation. I'm finding new rooms in my speech range.

Big fan of the product, especially the multi-device experience. The application does a nice job of staying in sync, so I can switch over to my mobile when on the go in any spare time and continue my learning.

The feedback loop (recording, confirming, listening) has prove very helpful with my pronunciation. This is especially important for me as my wife and her church are all Native Russian Speakers.

The thing that caught my eye about this product was the one time payment. I would much rather pay a hefty fee once than a small one over the course of the year, only to have to cancel it at a later date. It's a small thing, but super nice to me because now I feel no rush to practice or study. I've read a couple other reviews and would like to address that for any would be buyers: First off, the biggest complaint I see in the reviews is the voice recognition software sucks. So what? Don't use it. I've had this product for a while now and I've never used the voice recognition thing, not because it's bad but rather just because I don't need to. I listen to this when I'm jogging, or in a cafe, and I mumble the phrases back if at all. I practice by myself at home too. You don't need a microphone or a computer to repeat what you hear. The other con is the price, and like I addressed earlier, it may not be free but it's better than most free products such as Duolingo, and it's far better than subscription-based services. All I can say is this is working really well for me, and I whole heartedly recommend it. Haven't needed the customer service yet, but I'm sure it's as good as everything else.
