Where are the speakers from in the RocketSpanish lessons? They all pronounce "LL" differently.

Where are all the speakers from, in level 1 of the RocketSpanish course? Mauricio from the audio lessons pronounces letters with ll (eg lluvia) as "yu-via", but the man and woman in the language lessons pronounce it like "juu-via" or a buzzed "jjju-via". ...

Lesson 3.3 is killing me. Can't get past it.

This lesson is about the discussion of weather. What I need/want to know is, if you hacer sol why don't you hacer rain?  I simply cannot wrap my mind around the use of hacer. It ain't computing, and I'm getting head-bangingly frustrated with it.

Su vs. ella (or maybe something else)

In lesson 1.11 I'm told “Yo soy su amigo” translates as “I am her friend.”  Is that correct? I thought “su” meant “your.” Google Translate thinks so.

cartera = wallet?

Lesson 4.8 has “La cartera es suya.” as “The wallet is his.” But when I asked my Spanish speaking friends they said a man would never carry a cartera, which they said is a purse. Any help?

esta vs ésta

Plural of 'Traje de bano'
