Italian Language Expert (Remote)
We are looking for a native English speaker who is fluent in standard Italian to join our product development team. This project is for a full review of 90 grammar lessons to align them with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
We will provide comprehensive briefs, resources and training to the successful applicant, including style guides and grammar topics.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- An excellent native command of English (US).
- Excellent English-writing skills.
- Advanced Italian grammar knowledge (at least C1/C2).
- An extremely keen eye for detail, structure and logic.
- A linguistic background, such as a degree in a foreign language.
- Great organizational and time-management skills.
- An extremely keen eye for detail, structure and logic.
- The ability to follow complicated instructions well.
- An understanding and passion for processes and quality.
- The ability to think on your feet and pick up new digital systems quickly.
- A passion for language learning.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative team.
Any of the following would make your application stand out:
- Familiarity with the CEFR.
- Proven ability to lay out grammar concepts in a consistent and structurally logical way.
- Proven ability to clearly explain complicated language points in simple terms for learners of all backgrounds.
- Language-teaching experience.
